The best outing of the year...so many Troop 456 Scouts refer to the Bike outing.
The Troop bikes the Katy Trail from Chesterfield to Marthasville.
The Katy Trail State Park is a state park in the U.S. state of Missouri that contains the Katy Trail, the country's longest recreational rail trail. It runs 240 miles, largely, along the northen bank of the Missouri River, in the right-of-way of the fromer Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad. The trail is compact dirt and gravel. It's also scenic. Scouts ride under a canopy of trees, beaurtiful in the Fall.
